Recap of Monday August 18

Yesterday was a spectacular day. We all awoke very tired but refreshed from the blessing we received from The Lord earlier that morning. We practiced songs with Lukas or rather he taught us songs in German for outreach. We headed out in two vans towards laustivitz  square. Here we sang songs, talked to the people through the Presley's and Lukas, testified, and passed out flyers.

(This building has LED lights all around it and apparently looks really cool as Florian told us)

(Remember?? Germans can put things in mailboxes but can't knock on doors)

Hopefully I'll get better pictures of outreach today.

After that we headed back to get ready for kids crusade. Here we had bible skit, songs, puppets, games, crafts and snacks.

(We all thought the pastor reassembled Shaggy Rogers)

Jessica and Alissa

David and Goliath skit

After that it's crafts snacks and food.

A frisbee got stuck so we used Noah's help to get it down.

Behind the church compound property is a long walk way and park.

Then it was time for service. Bro. Jeremy preached on letting God convict, challenge and change you. There was an amazing response from the people. Bro. Presley told us this morning that he saw people who he hadn't seen lift their hands and pray in years. We had one lady come back to Christ. Three young men seeking after God and one man Opa Peter who well.....

The elderly man in the previous two picture is Opa Peter. His daughter Annakatrin has been take care of him since his wife was put into the hospital with depression. Saturday night he came up with his daughter so we could pray for him upon her request. He said believing in Jesus was too much for him to take. He said he had too much for Jesus to take care off. We were told later that he suffers from either Dementia or Alzheimer's. We started praying that he would have a moment of clear and understanding in his mind. Well last night that is exactly what happened. Opa Peter got saved!!! Priesten Herr! Praise The Lord!

After service and more coffee and cake we started to practice for the skit for today.

Love, Deidre
