Deidre's Travel Log: Day One of Crusade

Today was the first day of the Crusade and everything went really well!!! The lesson for the Kinder Crussade was Jesus is our protector!!! The skit was about Jesus and his disciples on the sea when a storm came and Jesus was asleep in the boat. Jonathan, Ben and Joshua played the parts and Janine, Kenna, Charlotte and I were in charge of the water for the storm!!! Let's just say we had fun squirting water from water guns and then for the big waves, cups of water!!!! The memory verse was Pslam 23:4. The service overall went very well for our first day!!!

The night service continued with Bro. Christian Schatchmann preaching. He is from Berlin and is married with seven children who all sing and play instruments (Think Von Trapp Family -- but not really).

Service was amazing. Altar calls in Germany but very rarely do people respond. Germans do not display their emotions so it's hard for them to step out and come oray or ask for prayer. Last night we had a man, two women, and one whole family of 5 step forward for prayer. I was wonderful!! The presence of the Lord was there and souls were touched.

After service we headed to McDonalds for something to eat. Then it was off to bed for day two!!!
